Using our POWER TEC Evo Welder, standard puller and Line puller, the door of this Mercedes Sprinter was pulled into position.
You can see our keys welded onto the panel and the bar through ready to be pulled with the claw puller.
The lower panel was cut away and replaced with a new part welded into place.
Just a light skim of upol DOLPHIN body filler and primed with Roberlo ME1 primer.
Painted with LECHLER Top Coat.

Fairly common type of damage to this Citroen where the car has been reversed back along a gate hinge.
Ideally needed a replacement 1/4 panel stitching into place but our customer wished to avoid the insurance route so we repaired the panel best as possible with a good result.
Using our POWERTEC dent pulling system our repairer Jason pulled the panels back into shape before repairing the steel.
Under Jasons watch, our apprentice, Harvey painted the panels before applying three coats of protective lacquer.
Very well done Harvey you did a fantastic job on your biggest paint job to date. -

In Scratchmaster workshop w/c 7/02/22.
Repairs to near side doors using POWER TEC miracle System.
Paint removed from around the damaged area and the Miracle System is used to pull the damaged panel into shape.
Minimum car body filler used to finish the repair.
Prepared then painted using Syrox water based paint. Protected with 2-3 coats of high quality lacquer.
Flatted and polished with 3M detailing products. -

This Toyota Auris came into our Body Repair Shop week commencing 13th December and was finished 18th December 2021.

Ideally needing a replacement door but economically a repair was better for our customer.
The large dent was pulled into shape using our PowerTec steel panel puller and finished off with three fine skins of UPOL Dolphin car body filler.
Several coats of Syrox primer and baked.
After the primed repair area was flatted the Syrox water based colour was applied and then followed up with three coats of protective clear coat.
Baked, flatted and polished you can see the finished repair.
Well done to Jason who carried out the repair which wasn’t the easiest.

Defective paintwork on the bonnet of this BMW 3 Series.
Thoroughly stripped to bare metal then primed three times.
Baked on a warm cycle then flatted.
Cleaned with anti-static panel wipe then back into the oven. Painted and given three generous coats of protective clear coat.
Fitted back to car and looked good.

Passenger door badly damaged on this Vauxhall Mokka.
Our customer sourced their own used door and had it delivered directly to Scratchmaster but in Blue not silver.
We stripped the old door of the parts we needed to re-use, items such as door card, wiring loom, locking system etc.
The interior of the replacement used door was stripped and prepared for painting silver. When this was complete we hung the door and prepared all the exterior panels for paint.
Once fully painted all the fittings were put back and the car fully flatted and polished.
This way our customer was able to get a good quality repair to quite a bad damage without making an insurance claim and saving around £1000+.

Caught on house gate post but repaired and painted to a high standard within three working days and at a price at which our customer thought was better than compromising his insurance no claims for. -

This Skoda has been struck on the 1/4 panel by a falling scaffolding tube narrowly avoiding the glass.
Another job for our Pro-Pull panel puller to gently pull back into shape the Skoda 1/4.
Thin skim of Dolphin Glaze to finish off before primer is applied.

Unusual door damage to this Citroen C3 in silver.
Using a steel pulling system we had these dents pretty much sorted out without having to use much car body filler. A few studs welded around the dented area fixed this damage.
Thin skim of Dolphin Glaze to finish the body repair and then into the spray bay for paint and lacquer.

Surprisingly typical damage to the sill section around the sliding door area.
Not possible to repair this type of damage on this area of the vehicle so we need to cut away the sill and replace with a new sill section.
Our expert in this type of repair is Jason and you can see him cutting away the damaged sill on this Volkswagen Crafter.
A new section is supplied to us by Nottingham TPS and Jason gets busy welding the new sill into place.
After completing the Crafter sill repair to a high standard it’s over to Dean to sort the paint which he does really well.

Ford Focus with paint damage to the bonnet.
An unknown chemical thrown onto our customers car which then ate deep into the cars paintwork.
We chemically stripped off all the remaining paint back to bare steel.
A chemical bar coat was applied to help prevent any further reactions before we put on several coats of new primer.
Once flatted and prep’d the bonnet was painted and colour faded into the wings to ensure a perfect colour match.

Pulled into shape using our Pro-Pull car dent fixing system and the repair finished off using minimum amount of car body filler.

Having previously been repaired and painted elsewhere 18 months ago we had this T6 into the Scratchmaster workshop for some minor repairs but mostly for colour correction.
Our spectro camera returned six different colour variations on different panels that had been painted before.
Additionally several panels had been painted using old fashioned ‘top coat’ paint which had faded badly.
The VW panels were so many different shades of yellow that it was difficult choosing which to match to.
After 2 days of painting test cards and head scratching we decided on the colour variant and started preparing all the panels for paint.
Bumpers, trims, handles and bonnet etc all removed and painted off the vehicle.

Previously repaired/painted roof, bonnet and tailgate.
All previously repaired areas have reacted and the paint is literally falling off and what hadn't already fallen off needed taking off.
Roof in particular was very bad.
With all the previous repairs removed we re-repaired the roof, bonnet and tailgate.
Re-primed and left to stand for a few days to allow any solvents to evaporate.
Then flatted and painted with Syrox water based colour and given 2-3 coats of new lacquer.
We decided to air-dry this paint job given the previous poor quality materials that had been used to avoid any solvent issues.
Finally machine polished and it did...
