Peeling paint on a tailgate which had previously been repaired and painted but not professionally.
To get this repair ready for painting the glass must be removed so that we can access the area and thoroughly prepare it for re-paint.
Nottingham Windscreens kindly came and removed the rear screen ready for us to get the repair done.
When the panel was painted and baked we were able to get the Windscreen guys back into Scratchmaster to re-fit the screen.
This is the correct way repair this type of damage in this particular area of the car and will now be long lasting. -

Ford Van repair for SW Auto's who are leading local Commercial vehicle repairers.
Sign writing is removed and area thoroughly degreased and cleaned.
Using our Pro-pull system we pulled the damaged panel until as near to original shape as possible.
The repair is completed using the least possible amount of body filler before being primed with 2k high build primer.
When ready the panels were painted with a high quality top coat then baked for forty minutes.
Before handing over to the customer the repaired area was given a quick flat and polish.

This metallic grey Isuzu has been badly scratched just before Christmas '20.
The deep scratches can be seen and looks like they have been caused by something like a screwdriver.
We sanded the scratches right back to the steel in some places before priming with 2k primer. Baked and left overnight to settle.
Next day we flatted the primer back and prepared the panels for paint.
After using our Syrox paint colour spectro' camera we determined the exact shade before mixing up the colour 'in-house'.
Later that day we painted all the repaired off-side panels and baked the finished paint job.
Flatted, polished and washed we returned the car back to our customer.

Typical damage to bonnet associated with slight error in calculating closure of garage door...!!!
Straight forward Dent Repair to this Honda bonnet followed by application of 2k high build primer.
Painted using our Syrox water based paint mixing system and using our colour spectrophotometer to evaluate the shade.
3 coats of High Solid lacquer applied then polished and back to the customer.

Rear end body damages to this BMW 1 Series boot lid and rear bumper.
Traditional body repair to the tailgate but rear bumper was cracked and scratched irreparably (economically).
Rear bumper is removed and stripped of any trims and reverse sensors that are to be used again.
Paint is removed from around the repair area and pins welded onto panel so that we can pull the panel into a good shape. This will help minimise the need for lots of body filler.
When the repair is made good it is primed with a good quality 2k primer and baked.
This is then flatted and the body repair checked again. If we are happy we can proceed to paint.

Thieves broke into this Van and stole all the contents.
The Van belongs to a Nottingham Civil Engineering business, Kemada, whose vehicles we maintain.
The door had been literally peeled back from the top and irreparably damaged.
These doors are really expensive so we repair them if we can but not on this occasion.
The door was removed and fittings such as locks, window glass, runners etc taken off door to be re-used on the new door.
The replacement door was delivered by the main dealer to Scratchmaster and we set to work preparing it for painting.
After repairing a few minor damages, where the thieves had broken in, we prepared also the adjoining panels for paint.

This vehicle had various damages to both rear doors but especially the off side rear.
Usually we would replace this door with new but as they are so expensive our customer asked us to do whatever we could to repair the existing damaged door.
After much head scratching (and a little bit of moaning from the staff) we set to work trying to straighten out the frame of the door. The whole door was twisted and hinges were strained.
After a lot of swearing, and some minor fallings out, we were there, the door was at least straight. Now we knew that we could save it and that we could set about repairing the dents and misshapen panel.

This VW van has been reversed over a concrete bollard damaging the sill sections and side sliding door.
Neither panel is repairable so new, genuine, VW parts are ordered.
Firstly the side sliding door is taken off the vehicle and all changeable parts removed from it. Door handles, locking mechanisms etc will be fitted to the new door once this arrives at Scratchmaster. Replacement parts are only supplied in primer so the inside of the replacement door needs painting before we can re-fit any parts from the old door.
The damaged sill section is taken off the vehicle by drilling away any rivets and we use an air chisel to finish its removal.
The area is then cleaned thoroughly.

This Vauxhall Corsa came to us from a Nottingham main dealer with really bed dents in the door shuts and on the passenger side door.
Internally the door was dented inwards around half an inch from where it should have been. The internal door card was way off the door.
Again we used our pro-pull dent pulling system to pull the internal door into shape. Very unusual to see such bad dents in this area compared to the fairly common seat belt buckle type dents.

This Mercedes van needed multiple repairs and a new/replacement off side drivers door.
Our customer, a Nottingham based national logistics company, asked us to carry out the repairs and to repair the drivers door without replacement as these doors are very expensive.
Firstly the Mercedes door was removed from the van and all the electrical parts removed. The door was so badly dented that the window glass would not go up or down due to it catching on the window regulator.
All these components had to be removed and refitted when the van paintwork was repaired.

THE REPAIR:
We removed the paint from around the damaged area and with our pro-pull plus dent puller system we pull the metal as near as possible to the original shape.
This repair method helps keep body filler down to a minimum which will keep the repair looking good. When a lot of body filler is used in thick layers it will shrink over time and the repair will deteriorate.
Using this Scratchmaster system we apply a small amount of high quality body filler and finish shaping by hand. Primer is the... -

A bumper and tailgate repair to this Honda by Scratchmaster.
A previous poor repair to the tailgate was removed by Scratchmaster revealing a split in the metal of the Honda tailgate. The damaged tailgate was repaired along with a scuff to the bumper.
Using our Syrox colour spectro camera we matched the car paint perfectly and we painted the tailgate and the bumper.
The car was collected, repaired and returned to the main dealer within less than 3 days.

Audi Bonnet then fully primed using top quality primers and then painted using Syrox paint system after using colour spectro camera to carefully match the paint colour.
