Scratchmaster had the pleasure of working with Neil Ardley, the Notts County Football manager. We collected his Audi A8 and bought the car in for dent repairs to the nearside door panels and repairs to all 4 alloy wheels. The car was collected from, and delivered back to, Neil at the Meadow Lane ground in Nottingham.
The work was carried out over two days. Firstly the door panels were cleaned with a de-greasing panel wipe so that we could clearly identify the damage and determine the best method of repair.
After having repaired the doors to a high standard we used our spectro camera to give us an exact match against the cars existing paintwork.
The new paintwork was baked and polished to a high gloss.
Neal was really pleased with the work and asked Scratchmaster if we could help improve the appearance of his Alloy wheels.
Back we went again to Meadow Lane and we collected Neal's car in order to sort his alloy wheels.
When finished you can see Nigel from Scratchmaster delivering the car back to Neal outside Meadow Lane.
If you have a car on lease that is nearing readiness for return you can call into Scratchmaster and we can advise you on what we think your leasing company might consider "fair wear & tear."
There is also a guide available from the BVRLA which will give you an indication of what the rental and leasing companies accepted standards are.
Fair wear and tear is not to be confused with damage, which might occur as a result of an impact or negligence or harsh treatment.
You should not be charged for any refurbishment that arises from normal wear and tear.
If you have any doubt call into Scratchmaster and we will be happy to take a look at your vehicle and give you free and impartial advice based on our own experience leasing vehicles.
