Just a few pics to show this 1996 Vauxhall Astra in our workshop for us to sort some peeling lacquer from a previous repair.
The car is in great condition with only around 20k genuine miles on the clock.
The owner wanted the peeling lacquer removing and re-painting with the type of paint that would have originally been used.
When new, the car would have been painted using a Top Coat paint system which unlike todays paint systems is paint and lacquer all in one product. Today paint and lacquer is applied separately.
We removed the previous paint and after a lot of preparation we re-painted the car using a quality Sikkens LV351 Red Topcoat.
