Split Bumper on Jaecoo

The front bumper on this Jaecoo was badly split on the front driver side.
A replacement bumper is very expensive and difficult to get hold of.
We cleaned up the crack and drilled holes either end of the crack to prevent it from travelling further.
Heated staples were melted into the crack to stitch it up.
The ends of the staples are then cut off and ground away.
The repair is finished off using plastic car body filler and primed ready for paint.
The car is driven into the spray booth and masked using polythene sheeting. Only the repair area is left uncovered.
The colour is applied to the corner followed by several coats of high quality ultra high solid lacquer.
Baked and polished to a mirror finish and saving well over £1200 for the customer.
