Previously repaired/painted roof, bonnet and tailgate.
All previously repaired areas have reacted and the paint is literally falling off and what hadn't already fallen off needed taking off.
Roof in particular was very bad.
With all the previous repairs removed we re-repaired the roof, bonnet and tailgate.
Re-primed and left to stand for a few days to allow any solvents to evaporate.
Then flatted and painted with Syrox water based colour and given 2-3 coats of new lacquer.
We decided to air-dry this paint job given the previous poor quality materials that had been used to avoid any solvent issues.
Finally machine polished and it did look like a new car when it left us.
