Body Repair to this Ford Fiesta on the 1/4 panel and fading the colour into the door for colour matching purposes.
When painting silver and other similar light metallic paints larger areas need to be painted to ensure good colour matching of the repaired area into the existing paint.
We pulled the panel as close as we could to it’s original shape then finished off with a premium Car Body Filler.
The shape of the panel was restored before we applied two or three coats of Roberlo primer.
Even though we knew what the colour was we still took an image of the paint using our colour spectro camera.
The match was very good so we mixed the colour and away painting we went.
The job took around 3 days beginning to end.
