Simple Bumper Repair
A few quick pics to show Bumper Scuff Repair Process.
The damaged area is cleaned with a panel wipe prior to starting the repair.
This cleans the panel, highlights any missed damages and helps prolong the life of our abrasives.
The damage is repaired and then masked ready for the application of a high quality two pack primer.
The primer is baked using infra red then flatted and smoothed with the correct grade abrasive.
The car is then put into the spray booth where it is masked leaving just the repaired area showing ready for paint.
The new colour is applied to the cover the primer then blended into the car’s existing paint.
Two new coats of a high quality lacquer are applied and then baked for 40 minutes.
To finish off we may complete the job with some final polishing.
