Not the easiest colour to match but the Axalta Syrox spectro camera did it's job
This is a rear bumper bar that sits behind the rear plastic cover that most of us call the bumper. This steel bar gives protection in case of a rear impact. In many cases the plastic cover shows only minor evidence of impact as the plastic quickly recovers it's memory and shape but as you can see the integrity of the steel beam and the protection that it offered has gone.Click Here
You can see the new bar fitted and how different it is compared to the damaged bar.
Off-side 1/4 panel repair and paint for a younger customer whose excess is very high so she didn't want to make a claim on insurance.Click Here
A vehicle on lease so the repair and paint finish has to be perfect or there will be hefty lease return charges.
With the cost of replacement doors being extremely high and this business customer's insurance excess also excessive we were asked to repair the door and paint the rear doors.Click Here
We pulled the distorted door back to near exact shape with our dent pulling system.
Only the smallest amount of filler needed to finish.
The repair was primed, flatted then painted and lacquered.

See the depth of car body filler on the 1/4 panel from a previous repair.
The previous work had to be removed before we could use our dent puller to pull the 1/4 panel into shape.
This minimizes the use of fillers and gives a far longer lasting repair and much better finish.
If you want a professional car body repair we can help.
Customer did not want the wing replacing as we had suggested.Click Here
Economically a new wing would have been the usual way.
You can see Tom preparing the wing ready for the application of pins.
The pins will be welded onto the panel which is then pulled into shape.
This process reduces the amount of car body filler used which greatly improves the standard of the repair.
You can see the repair finished and several coats of high quality primer applied.
The primer is then flatted.

Big repair to a Nissan Navara for a friend as a wedding present !!Click Here
This has been a difficult repair and was actually a Cat D insurance write off. Category D is for lightly damaged cars, or those which were stolen and recovered after the owner had been paid by the insurance company.
The official description of a Category D car is one that has suffered accident damage that would cost less to repair than its value.
The repair process involved extensive use of our Pro-Pull dent puller system an...
The first images were taken when the vehicle initially came to Scratchmaster for estimate. The repair was to the near side ¼ panel and the gouge to the lower sill.Click Here
We used our dent pulling system to repair the sill damage to minimise the amount of body filler. This is obviously an area of the car that is close to the road and is exposed to water, snow, ice and salt etc. so (as in most cases) we want to make as little use of filler as is possible.
The next images show that the damage has b...

Damage on white cars is particularly difficult to photograph but this nearly new Audi A1 had damage to the edge of the drivers door caused by the wind getting hold of the door and the door then hitting a wall causing a dent to the door edge .Click Here
The door handles need to be removed and a repair carried out.
Again we made use of our dent pulling system and just the slightest skim of filler to finish off.
The repair was primed, painted and lacquered.

The damage to the near side of our customers' Peugeot van, as can be seen from the images, was quite heavy to say the least. Our Dent pulling system really was on overtime here.Click Here
After 4 days hard work the end result can be seen as really good. We are very proud of this job but sometimes we wonder why we chose the name Scratchmaster all those years ago.
This Ford KA had a significant “prang” to the near side ¼ panel. Considering the overall value of the car our customer’s insurers would almost certainly have written the car off as being not economically repairable.Click Here
Mechanically speaking the car had low mileage and held sentimental value to the customer so considering also that she had a high insurance excess we took on the repair for her.
You can see from the “before” images that the dent is large and affects nearly all of the...
